The Branches hold meetings and arrange field days, local garden visits ( most of these gardens are not open to the public), talks, propagation demos, shows, dinners etc. all with a strong friendship basis. They also organise displays, and/or local shows during the camellia flowering season. Gardeners, even those who have little, or no experience in the growing of camellias, are welcome at any of the Branch meetings. Each Branch has its own local committee which arranges the programme. Times of local meetings vary from week nights to a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, with garden visits usually taking place on a Saturday or Sunday. Highlights are often when Branch visits are exchanged, or perhaps a bus trip away for the weekend. Visitors are always welcome to attend.
