Programme 2019 Gisborne East Coast Camellia Society

The Programme for this year is as follows.

Please mark these dates on your calendar now.

There may be some changes due to weather etc , but you will be advised as soon as possible.

If benching blooms please come at the earlier time noted on the programme.

Benching and naming takes longer than you think.

               

August 23/25th : National Show and Convention in Whanganui.

 September 15: A garden visit to Carline Mills’s subtropical garden, Waerenga a hika

                    Please note the date may change.

                    We will have afternoon tea there. Please bring your own afternoon tea. Caroline may still

                    have plants for sale.

                    There will be a raffle.

October:  A visit to Cushla and Michael Murphy’s garden at Panikau Station .Date and details to be

                   given later. This may be a bus trip. We will have lunch there. Remember there will be a raffle.

                                     

November 24:   End of year luncheon. Details later. After lunch we will visit Hamish Cheetham,

                      509 Childers Road to view his roses and see his rose breeding seedlings.
